sunday evening

It's almost six p.m. on a Sunday night, and this house is busy.  As I sit on my bed finishing homework for tomorrow, I can hear my dad driving back and forth on the mower, and he keeps stopping to pick up the little ones begging for rides.  The boys just finished clearing out the garden for the winter, and my mom is making Italian Wedding Soup for dinner.  If I ever get this homework done, I might edit some of the senior photos I took yesterday.  Or I could go for a run.  (Um, yah, we all know that's not going to happen.)  It sounds and feels like fall today, even though the temperatures are higher than they have been the past two weeks.  And yet, October is almost over.  This month is going by too quickly.  So, I'm off to soak up as much as I can while it lasts.  Happy Sunday evening!

  9. this is lovely. i adore how you capture the moments of life, the ones that seem to wind down as quick as they wind up. fleeting and mundane seem cliche and overused, but that's just it. that's what you do. maybe one day we'll come up with a different term, but for now, your showcasing the world's overlooked pieces of the puzzle; the background, it's beautiful. never stop, darling. :)

  18. These photos are quite inspiring to grab my own camera and snap away at the little joys of life. I've been skipping over them too often as of late.
